The South has a reputation or an old cliché of being “mannerly and proper.” We hear about the Southern gentleman and lady, of a southern belle and her suitors. More importantly though is the term “Southern Hospitality.” This is something people of the south seem to pride themselves on… Does it exist and how much of a factor is it in Southerner’s culture?
